Exoskeletons, bionic eyes and ears: the era of the augmented human has dawned. Bionics, a fusion of biology, electronics and mechanics, is booming. Is "The Six Million Dollar Man", the 70's television show, still fiction? For the moment, bionics is not intended for superheroes, but it aims to restore or improve the body functions of patients. In 2013, Bertolt Meyer demonstrated with Franck, his prototype bionic man, that 60 to 70% of the functionalities of the human body could be performed artificially. Six years later, some organs (such as the digestive system, liver and brain) have still not been reproduced and others, already commercialized such as bionic eyes, are not yet perfected. "Vision is in black and white and the resolution is very low; you can only see large objects," says Katherine Taglieri.
